BPAL, etc. swaplist

I'm in the UK, but happy to swap or sell anywhere in the UK, Europe or around the world. Postage & packing in the UK will be 80p for samples and £1.50 for bottles. European postage will be £1.80 / $2.75 and international will be £2 / $3

All dollar amounts are approximate translations of the British pound rate in mid-April 2010. I'm happy to take your money in pounds or dollars - your choice - and one may be cheaper than the other on any particular day.

My feedback is available here and my wishlist is at the top of the page

  • Chaos Theory IV: CCCV (Edge of Chaos 2008)
Each bottle of Chaos Theory is truly unique, a fragrant fractal, and exercise in the joy of chance and uncertainty! Each is a one-of-a-kind, utterly random combination of scents, the composition of which is based on whim, mood and gut instinct. ~Reviews~
    Full, £6 / $9.50

  • Dolce Stil Nuovo (Lupercalia 2007)
Our interpretation of Dolce Stil Nuovo is a blend of rose otto, carnation, vanilla flower, lavender and jasmine with the clarity of crystalline white musk and the warmth of golden amber. ~Reviews~
    Just over 1 imp left, £3 / $4.50

  • Earth Ox (New Year 2009)
A new year's blessing! Peony, China's national flower, with bamboo for flexibility, plum blossom for perseverance, courage, and hope, tangerine for wealth, orange for happiness, lychee for household peace, pine resin for constancy, golden kumquat and quince for prosperity, narcissus and King mandarin for good fortune, peach blossom for longevity, oakmoss, plum, and tobacco for stability, and a splash of blazing red of dragon's blood... to help you scare away the rampaging Nian. ~Reviews~
Fill level above the top of the label, £8 / $12.25 Reduced to £7 / $10.75

  • Lycaon (Lunacy Companion, December 2006)
A monstrous, brutal, and bloodthirsty blend: blackened myrrh, crushed olive leaf, black musk, spikenard, frankincense, cypress wood, opoponax, white ginger, and patchouli. ~Reviews~

  • Marae (Atomic Luau Lounge, 2008: Flotsam)
Vanilla orchid, Monoi tiare, gardenia, and light incense ~Reviews~
    £10 / $15 Reduced to £8.50 / $13

  • Privilege (Bastille Day, 2007)
Polished party-girl sleaze. This is a shameless scent, devoid of caution, regret, or introspection. This perfume reeks of tabloid glamour, and has no substance whatsoever. Armoise, tuberose, white citrus, rose absolute, oakmoss, tiare, tuberose, vanilla, linden, and lemon tree blossom. Although this scent originated with fine plants and the pure essences, the final result is a grotesque, eerily empty caricature of a debauched, narcissistic would-be debutante. ~Reviews~
    £10 / $15 Reduced to £8.50 / $13

  • Stinky (Summer, 2009)
A cure for sweaty bits and sticky wilting. Stinky is a summer refresher 'foom for people that don't dig run-of-the-mill "clean" scents: newly-washed skin with a dusting of milk, white honey, and baby powder. ~Reviews~
    Full, £10 / $15 Reduced to £8.50 / $13

  • Tanuki (Lunacy Companion, November 2007)
A scent of hedonistic, uninhibited joy: bamboo reed, plum blossom, persimmon, magnolia, black pine, sweet osmanthus, flowering cherry, mandarin orange, wisteria, and yuzu. ~Reviews~
    £10 / $15 Reduced to £8.50 / $13

  • The Gaoler's Daughter (Wind in the Willows, 2008)
Gardenia, neroli, and white peach with vanilla amber, cream, and honey. ~Reviews~
    £10 / $15 Reduced to £8.50 / $13

  • The Gladdener of All Hearts (Forum Only, 2008)
Honeyed milk, baby powder, lavender, orris root, sage, carnation, angelica, frankincense, and rose otto. ~Reviews~
Full to just below neck of bottle; above label level - £8 / $12.25 Reduced to £7 / $10.75

Possets Bottles - £4.50 / $7 each

  • Frilly Garters (Valentines 2010 - The Corset Shoppe) - FFFFrilly, with a tang like the metal of the garter, and a whipped up confection of the lace on these suspendies. Real pretty and it sort of "moves" instead of staying static on your skin. a very mellow apricot and a spicy buttery oil are what starts this off in an unusual way, followed by just the tiniest dot of "green" smell, and a very small amount of cocoa "liquor" (which does not smell like a chocolate bar at all...it is much drier and gets to the heart of the candy much faster). You will definitely want to show off this concoction. There is a bit of fruitlike fragrance to it but nothing at all like a strictly fruity mix. A bit daring but really pretty and wearable.
